Perry British Rifles Pt 2

More Perry Miniatues Rifles this time with some of the conversions, firing loading or advancing.

Perry Rifles

Perry Rifles - I have a full unit worth of rifles mostly plastic, with a metal command group, Although they only come crouching or walking with rifle carried across the body or at the trail. However there all loads of variations and simple conversation using bits and pieces from other sets.
The First shot has a bugler and Sergeant, Bugle from the ACW perry cavalry box set, pointing arm from the french Napoleonic one.
The rest are the standard poses.

Lace trimmed off the front but other than that its just a paint job, passibly close to the real thing, or at least the unit in Mont St Jean!!

Hanovarian Infantry converted from Perry British Infantry, The covered Belgic shako has been cut down and trimmed making sure the peak is not effected, then with a small ball or Greenstuff flattened across the head and Bingo Hanovarians! (There are a couple of Victrix mixed in there for good messure).

Victrix Highlanders painted as the 92nd Gordon Highlanders

Last of the Mohicans

Woodland Indians From French Indian Wars. These are Dixon Miniatures indians bought and painted a while back but still nice.

Perry Plastic heavy cavalry, 1 unit as Cuirassiers and one as Carabiners.

Metal Perry Miniatures this time, the Napoleon command group, superb figures, all i need is another 100,000 figures and i'll have finished my french army!

Perry Fench Infantry -These figures are excellant to paint, if anything slightly easier to paint than metal. I couldnt resist the lure of the perry artillery, a small battery of two guns (both metal) whichgives my french a bit

of balance.

35th

One of the real streghts of the victrix box is that there is plenty of veriety and by mixing a box of center companies and flank companies allowed me to keep this battalion as mostly firing.

These are the First Pics of my Waterloo Figures. In Jan 2009 I started with some Perry French and after a slow start I got right into the project, i've tried to complete 1 battalion a month, which sounds do-able but with work and family its allways a challange.
This is my first shot at a british line regiment the figures are Victrix and i've gone for a advancing/marching look. They are the 69th and i've used the victrix flag that came with the center companies box.
