Spares from the Victrix French Guards

These were left over from the Old guard victrix box set, i fancied some greatcoated skirmishers and with the help of some perry heads they came out looking great. The officer is for my artillery battery which came out looking ok apart from the claw like hand in the air it looks like a zoidberg hand, more to do with my painting than the sculpt i promise you!

79th Cameron Highlanders (Victrix)

I fancied taking on the harder tartan of the 79th and i wish I hadn't bothered! Much harder to replicate that the government tartan or the Gordon tartan, I didn't quite get it . . . Still very nice figures to paint. The more eagle eyed will notice that the arms are all (bar a few) Perry miniatures British arms. There is nothing wrong with the victrix arms but i was looking for a different look for this Highland regiment.

Dismounted Dragoons

The excellent Perry miniatures Dismounted Dragoons. I thought i'd convert two of the mounted dragoons to a command group, however although i've given the Captain the right helmet I've forgotten to take off the Strap for the Cartridge Box!
Added a greenstuff finger pointing.

Dutch Militia

A mis-mash of Perry and Victrix British (with 2 Great coated French old guard thrown in for good measure) The perry British has plenty of spare Stovepipe shakoes and it was nice to be able to use these. I have used a Dutch Line standard i had lying around but intend to change this to a Orange Militia standard when i get my next GMB flag order in.
